At a sparkling exceptional midnight session of the Parliament, PM Narendra Modi today drove India to its greatest backhanded duty change – Goods and Services Tax (GST).
At the Parliament’s noteworthy Central Hall, PM Modi portrayed GST as a decent and straightforward expense. Modi said GST may cause some minor issues yet individuals will modify soon. “Indeed, even eyes need to change in accordance with new exhibitions,” PM Modi said.
” GST is transparent and fair system that prevents black money and corruption and promotes new governance culture,” Modi said in his speech. The Parliament House was decked up for GST rollout which was welcomed at the stroke of midnight.
The midnight session of Parliament is reminiscent of India’s independence on the midnight of August 14 and 15 in 1947 when first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru gave the historic speech on India’s ‘Tryst with Destiny
