Seven Amarnath Yatra pioneers were murdered and 12 harmed when terrorists opened fire on their transport in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag last night.
The bus, which was from Gujarat, was apparently not some portion of the fundamental yatra guard and was not enrolled with the hallowed place board, the Central Reserve Police Force or CRPF said.
The fundamental yatra caravan is escorted by the CRPF which has now hurried troops to the spot. Fear based oppressors propelled the assault on the transport at 8:20 pm in the Bantegoo zone of the region, said authorities.

More than 6,000 pioneers were permitted to move towards the hallowed place from north Kashmir’s Baltal base camp while 5,000 explorers continued from the customary south Kashmir Pahalgam course. Around 1.2 lakh explorers have enlisted themselves this year.
Among the security game plans for the 45-day journey are a satellite following framework, rambles, portable fortification vehicles and street opening gatherings (ROPs) along the whole course from Jammu to Pahalgam and Baltal. The Center has given an extra 40,000 paramilitary powers to help the state government for a quiet direct of the Yatra.
